Questionnaire Results 2018

Thank you to everyone who returned a response to our Junior and Infant/Nursery Questionnaires in July 2018. All the written responses have been shared with the governing body with discussion taking place on how we use the information to ensure we keep doing the things we do well and importantly work to improve those areas where concerns were raised. Thank you again for being an important part of this self-review process to help us improve our school.

Overall Summary - Nursery & Infants

  • 100% of responses stated they would recommend the school
  • Only one response failed to state that the school was either good or outstanding
  • 100% of responses stated that in the following areas they either strongly agreed or agreed with the statement:

The school helps my child to develop skills in communication, reading, writing and maths

There is a good standard of behaviour at this school

The school deals with any cases of bullying effectively

The school helps me to support my child’s learning with appropriate homework and guidance

The school is well led and managed

The school keeps me well informed about my child’s progress

 The area for the school to consider from the feedback comments is around some last minute/late communications

The areas for the school to consider from the feedback comments are around homework and managing the impact of those children who at times behave inappropriately and disrupt the learning of others. This issue has been included in the revised SDP for Behaviour Safety and Welfare
