At Rothwell Schools, we have several policies and procedures in place, including the Child protection policy. All members of staff, including volunteers and governors are aware of these documents and must ensure they are understood and adhered to. Please click here for further reading/reference to our policies and statutory information (insert hyperlink).

On occasion, Rothwell Schools may need to work in partnership with other agencies and share appropriate information when there are concerns about a child’s welfare. This includes notifications from the Police, i.e. Domestic Abuse (DA). Rothwell Schools are committed that concerns about our students are discussed their parents/guardians first unless there is reason to believe that such a move would be contrary to the child’s welfare.

KCSIE 2023: “Everyone who comes into contact with children and their families has a role to play”.

At Rothwell Schools, we understand that providing all children with a safe, welcoming, fun and empowering environment, ensures including other professionals and Home within their journey.

Information given about concerns raised will always be dealt with sensitively and appropriately.
